More beauty in wind: Helix Wind

As regular readers know, I loves me up some beautifully designed windmill action. I think we may be on the verge of a revolution in this space where art meets power production on a small scale. The latest find comes to me via Matter Network. It’s the Helix Wind approach to windmill design. Pictured above is their 5kW system, the Savorious 5.0. The blade is 12 feet high with a diameter of four feet.
The impressive power consumption is enough to make me want one right now and the beauty makes me want to show it off to the world. I can also see businesses wanting to line their storefronts with these as money-making attention-getters.
Helix doesn’t list its pricing publicly, but Matter Network notes the $3,000-$5,000 range is likely for the smaller generators. That matches the range of the Mariah Power model at around $4,000. Given the relatively low (one imagines) construction costs for these beasts, I would expect the cost to drop substantially over the next few years.

it’s an amazing stuff if it can be here in my country. my country has spent too much of money just selling fuel, just for making electricity. how about it?
